Students who finish the BS Management Accounting course are expected to contribute to the planning, controlling, performance evaluation of an organization (Risk Management, Treasury, Tax Planning, Investor Relations, Internal Audit, Overall Control). Furthermore, they are expected to have extensive knowledge on the operations of an organization they work for since they will be recommending courses of action which supports the strategic goals of the organization.
Management accountants, through collaboration with managers, provide significant inputs when deciding on issues and alternative scenarios. In addition, the students have an option to take an international accreditation exam as Accounting Managers, which qualifies them to work abroad and they are not required to take the CPA Board Exams by the PRC.
Students are required to complete 400 hours of internship or mentored practical experience and engage in accounting research.
